Rare Antique/Vintage Chinese Intricately Carved & Painted Large Wooden Duck with Golden wood eggs. Old and beautifully carved wood Chinese duck is 17" long, 10 1/2" wide and 10" tall and weighs 6 pounds. The duck is painted red, black, cream with touches of gold and very ornately carved - see photos. It appears to be very old, but I am not sure of the age or Country of origin. There are 8 holes (1 3/4" wide) on the back of the duck - I am not sure what they were intended for, but I put 8 gilt wooden eggs in them - included with duck. Gilt eggs are 2/1/2" long and 1 3/4" wide. There is a large crack on the ducks tail (see photos) due to age. I have owned this piece for many years and have had it displayed on a shelf in my living room. Smoke/Pet free home. Shipped with USPS package. Contact Seller with any additional questions.
