When extended flat at zero degrees,SideRiggerplaces the line the same distance away from the boat as a fifteen-foot outrigger would place a line; except,SideRiggersets the line closer to thesurface of the water, therefore avoiding tangles.​

SideRiggersboom positively locks on eitherside at -20, -10, 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 & 90-degree settings, so the anglemay be determined by the fisherman, allowing him to achieve the best bait placement and trolling spread.​

SideRiggersfits in standard, 30-degree, 1 ½inch-diameter, metal rod holders (dont use in plastic rod holders). When in a rod holder,SideRiggersbase will rotate and adjust to anyangle, so it can be used on port or starboard side.​

SideRiggermay be used in rod holders, T-top or rocket launchers. It can be stowed above, allowing rapid clearing ofcockpit.SideRiggersplacement adjustments require no tools,so adjustments can be easily made while fishing. Even with "slimy fish hands."​

Offshore TrollingBy adding twoSideRiggersto anyboat you can troll two more lines. Bait placement and bait depth can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the angle of the telescoping pole. Also theSideRiggercan be positioned close to the stern oramidship to improve the bait placement. TheSideRiggercan beused in conjunction with outriggers, downriggers or by themselves.​
